Watercolors, animals and our beautiful planet

From scribbling, painting, sewing, building and molding as a teenager to four years of scribbling, painting, sewing, building and molding as a student at Parsons School of Design in New York, I ended up back in Oslo in 2009 working as a digital designer.

As the commercial hamster wheel carpentered the billable ours of my life, pencils, watercolors and 640 grams of Canson paper offered a much needed relief from a stream of late night emails and gnatt diagrams.

Over the years my work has slowly found its destined path, fueled by an increasing anxiety and worry for our planet and its inhabitans. With my need to further understand the running mechanics and (hopefully) reasons for hope , I have plunged into the forces and wonders that drives the unique machinery of planet earth.

I hope the pieces I create act as a reminder of this planets complexity, ingenuity, brilliance, and even preservation. After all, our species can thank almost 4 million years of agile processes in our biosphere for the life we are given.
